Pitfalls and Goals

Like one said sometime ago: "I am not Jung nor a Freud," if that were the case then what am I? I am .....alive! What others imagine...I live. People often misunderstand this type of life, jealous of the freedom one feels when there are no chains cre rain"eated by cultural differences, provincial demands, or age limitations. It is refreshing to find that "nos mutamus" but also that "vos mutatis" my friends do change indeed, some improve and some are still disoriented. I must admit that I do not make any demands on my friends, I share but am reluctant to take, I give but am not "beholden" to any one,[with the exception of my own family]. I sing "in the rain" and walk on air, I play and never care who wins [tennis]. The four days I spent at the conference for peace in Seoul Korea...were days of interesting boredom [?] Interesting for I met several people of high class! Not only in their position in the political areana but in their outlook on life and their behavior toward others. I looked at former and present day presidents of countries, prime ministers, generals, professors, members of various parlaments and so on. Rabbis, priests of various churches and religions, and academicians : college presidents, deans; editors, publishers, and best of all the "polite Korean greeters." What a mixture of cultures, manners, mores, dresses, outfits and languages. Yes, it was worth to attend the conference! Then comes the question of the content of the various speeches. The agenda, the propaganda, the persuasive and constant pull of ideas. The 87 th bithday celebration of dr. Moon, the inauguration of his mountain top "center" a magnificent project, combined with the coronation od dr. Moon and his wife as the king and queen of peace, and as the "first family" of the whole humanity! The presentation of 182 pair of crowns from as many different countries. That was quite a spectacle! Perfectly orchestrated, and executed without any visible glitch. Then every guest left for home loaded with tokens, mementos of the event. There is still left to ponder the "theological" implications of the high claims of the dr.Moon's organization. An invitation to world wide "unification" of religious entities without respect to their traditional differences! The frequent citation of the well known passages in Isa.2/Micha 4, indicating that in the new order: "everyone will sit under his fig tree and worship his god." Omitting the final phrase "but we will worship our God YHWH." Can we cooperate without merging into "the Universal Church" advisedly not called "catholic" but the "Unification church." Symbolic gestures of unification in projects such as a tunnel uniting Asia and North-America, Korea and Japan, the rewriting of several encyclopedias to include the Unification sentiments into every article [where possible]. These are the plans. All this in the name of peace and cooperation between all people. That is why the top leaders in various countries have been invited to cooperation built on personal friendship. The momentum is maintained by organized conferences in various countries, the next being in Wash.D.C. on Sept. 17.
Then came the departure and the mundane activities connected with not missing a connection at the airport. The arrival in the middle of the night at Warsaw...and finally making it into bed by 2am. Called home and all is on the right course. Later I will share what happened since. I love to hear the call of ET [me] come home. Thank you Ita.
